Founded in 1989, Summit Products specialized in state-of-the art battery charge controllers and power management systems optimized for Nickel-Cadmium and Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries. Our Ni-Cd / Ni-MH battery charger chips, SP1502, uses the most advanced charging algorithm available. Over the years our focus expanded to included a much broader base of electronic products: Li-Ion battery chargers, complex cable and wiring harnesses, injection molded parts, and some of the most efficient DC to DC power converts of their time.

Other projects include a subsystem that automatically starts / stops any engine driven generator, advanced wind turbine design, a long range VTOL drone, various LED lighting systems and Windows based software for industry.

Summit Products Corporation warrants its products against defects in material or workmanship as follows:

Summit Products Corporation will repair or replace defective units at no charge for a period of one year beginning on the shipping date. Summit Products Corporation shall, at it's sole discretion, determine whether defective units will be repaired or replaced. The terms of the manufacturer's warranty will apply to components used in products assembled by Summit Products Corporation.

The warranty period shall begin on the shipping date and/or the packing list date. All claims for warranty adjustments must be authorized by Summit Products Corporation and must be identified with a Return Authorization Number on the outside of the prepaid shipping container. Summit Products Corporation will not be responsible for the loss, damage or destruction of documents or units returned for warranty adjustment. It is the claimant's responsibility to provide insurance on the return shipment.

This warranty shall terminate and become void if the unit is subjected to modification, adjustment, misuse, abuse, accident or improper installation.

Summit Products Corporation reserves the right to improve the design of its products without notice or obligation to upgrade existing units.

REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY, IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER. IN NO EVENT SHALL SUMMIT PRODUCTS CORPORATION BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, NOR FOR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE MISUSE OR MODIFICATION OF THIS PRODUCT.

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED.

This warranty gives you specific rights, you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
